1976 to 1986
We began our journey in Dubai’s bustling Al Hamriya market, trading fresh fruits and vegetables with a simple promise to deliver nature’s best, every day.
1986 to 1996
We became the first in UAE to establish a cold chain distribution by introducing refrigerated trucks, ensuring our produce remains fresh till delivery.
1996 to 2006
Our support for local farms made us the sole distributor for UAE’s first locally grown button mushrooms from Al Ain.
2006 to 2016
With Barakat Quality Plus, we opened our first facility dedicated to cold-pressed juices, fruit cuts, vegetables, and chef-prepared meals. All made fresh, without shortcuts or preservatives.
2016-2018
Setting the bar high for food safety, we became the first fresh produce name in the UAE to be HACCP Certified.
